Mount Bailey Snowshoe Hike

Monday from the Three Lakes Snow Park we hiked to Hemlock Shelter. After a short brake we hiked to the top of Hemlock Butte where we had a great view of mt. Thielsen and Diamond Lake. Tuesday we headed out in the direction of mt. Bailey. Unable to find a marked trail we bushwhacked our way through the forest and clamed victory at about half way. It was snowing hard and there was some concern of an avalanche, safety first. So we find some shelter under some trees and ate lunch on the side of the mountain and returned to the shelter.
